The group blog of four quiltmakers and textile artists scattered around the world in 4 countries and across three continents.
Our aim is to create a small quilt every three months.
The theme is chosen by the members in turn.

I had an immediate idea when this challenge was first agreed, and despite looking at all sorts of other inspirations and architects, I failed to find a topic that apppeals so much as this one. So our next challenge is simply -
DOORS
I have just dug out an old sketchbook full of windows, doors, floors and ceilings, only to find there is only one door in it. There is a door in my library piece (which I might have a solution to), can I use that for my doors piece? Only joking.
I too am looking forward to this challenge! After a long and tedious stretch of ill health I'm finally well enough to rejoin this lovely and inspiring group. I have missed you all. Luckily my creative juices and energy levels have returned and I hope to dream of doors.
Glad to hear you are back with us Mai-Britt! Wicked thoughts - my husband suggested reducing the subject matter a bit more to - knockers! Then we discovered our daughter has a great selection of photos of knockers - all of them lizards from doors seen on her travels.
An open and closed decision then ....
ReplyDeleteGreat topic that will suit all ways of working.
Great news. I have millions of photos of doors! I was hoping for this to come along.
ReplyDeleteDoors - an exciting prospect for our next pieces !
ReplyDeleteLike it! Thanks, Linda F. Hilary
