Gaudi Mosaics

Sorry for the delay.  I couldn't get on to post on this blog.  It kept putting me on my old personal one.

When I saw the architect I was quite excited.  But somehow really had trouble coming up with a plan - inspiration failed me.  Until the last minute!!  I love the mosaics and the colour, and I liked some of the window frames such as those in the Casa Batlló.  And I liked that he didn't do straight lines.

  1. What fun and so simple, but it glows. That shaft of sunlight makes me think I could be standing at stained-glass window looking out. Or looking through a window into a garden of flowers... H

  2. I agree with Hilary, it really glows and I am amazed at the mix of fabrics you have used. All works beautifully.

  3. It does look like stained glass: the black fabric really shows up the colours

  5. I really like the colour transition through your fabric mosaic. I think if Gaudi had worked with fabric he'd have produced something quite like this!
