Gaudi was a genius with engineering and with design . In many of his buildings he inserted beautifully crafted stained glass windows . For my quilt I have chosen a window which was inserted into the outer wall of the Guell colony crypt.
Another beautiful piece, Rosemary. The shapes and colours sing 'Gaudi'. Clever of you to focus on one feature. My only comment would be to have left a bit of wall at the top like below. Your work is always beautifully executed. Love it. H
Love this piece and the way you have set your design into such a well crafted wall. I love your colours and your design and the way you have made it so "Gaudi". Well done on a beautifully executed piece.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Rosemary. So realistic looking. Colours sing.
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful piece, I had to look twice before I realised I was looking at your work and not at a photograph.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything that's been said but on looking at the close up I was drawn to the variety of texture that you have achieved.
ReplyDeleteI can't really add anything to the above. Colours that sing and interesting textures. Gaudi would be proud.
ReplyDeleteI like the colours and the quilted textures.
ReplyDeleteIt really does look like a stained glass window! Lovely colours, and the quilting is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteWell done Rosemary. The fabric colors are very vibrant and like the textured wall behind.
ReplyDeleteI love the design, the blues and the quilting. Lovely, Rosemary!
