Our aim is to create a small quilt every three months.
The theme is chosen by the members in turn.

I liked the images of roses designed by Rennie Mackintosh and so my interpretation of "Roses"is based on his 'Glasgow 'roses. There are beads in the centres which enhance the images but cannot be seen in the photo. Rosemary
I'm also a great fan of the Mackintosh roses (both Margaret and Charles). You have abstracted them and now we have 'essence' of roses - pity we can't small them! Like the idea of the added beads. Beautiful quilting.
The simplicity of your piece really makes it stand out most effectively and as always your quilting is beautiful. Its such a pity we can't see the beads. The idea of using the Mackintosh roses was very clever which you have executed so well and made it your own.
