The group blog of four quiltmakers and textile artists scattered around the world in 4 countries and across three continents.
Our aim is to create a small quilt every three months.
The theme is chosen by the members in turn.
Our website is: www.12bythedozen.weebly.com
Colleen, as we know, is otherwise occupied today, so she asked me to post her choice for the next theme.
Drum roll please: it is “Fine Living." Have fun with it, everyone!
For speed, you could say that Linda Forey has already finished "Fine Living". Just have a look at her g-and-t in Fresh. Or for that matter, the fine dining of Colleen's Street Life.
Love the new theme, though no ideas at the moment. I'm in France at the moment, and just got the internet working for the first time down here. Loved all the Steps pictures - what diversity! Off to do some heavy scale gardening now - where's that chainsaw?
As usual I haven't a clue what I'll do - but isn't that the fun of these things? Then there's the reveal - interpreatations you'd considered but left unresolved, sparkling ideas that you just wish you'd thought of and some amazing artistry. Love it all!!! Hope all has gone as expected Colleen,
Good choice ....... I have it all worked out already!
ReplyDeleteThat was fast! You win the speed award! It's fun to see your light flashing on the other end of the world.

ReplyDeleteIdea number 1 is already in my head! Thanks Colleen.
ReplyDeleteStep out of the way...new ideas are flooding in! Love the "reveal" days and love the "new theme" days...aw, heck, I love it all!!
ReplyDeleteJust checking...due date on "Fine Living" is May 31st?

ReplyDeleteJust signing in to see what everyone has done - and it's me flashing in Rome (I guess) although we are way down south in the heel of Italy.
ReplyDeletePlenty of examples of 'fine living' here - from castles and villas to great wines. The area is known for it's olive oil, wine and almonds.
Yes, Venetta - next due date is May 31st.
Careful with that chain saw, Linda F!!!
Thinking of you, Colleen. Thanks for the great theme.
Hilary
