SAQA

If you go on the SAQA site and look at the auction pieces that have been assembled into groupings you will see that our Heather's piece has been included in an Abstract grouping by Jamie Fingal.  Nice work Heather.

    For anyone interested in checking this out, visit the website www.saqa.com and click on News & Events, then on SAQA 2011 Benefit Auction. Find the link for Dream Collections,and on page 8 scroll down to the untitled group by Jamie Fingal. My piece is in there with work by Deidre Adams, Jean Wells, Wen Redmond, and other distinguished company. Th whole site is a compelling look at contemporary art quilts and well worth a visit. Many of the images can be magnified by clicking on them.

    Terribly forgetful of me, but I didn't think to mention that Helena's beautiful Spontaneous Combustion 2 has also been included in a Dream Collection at the bottom of page 5.

    The grouping was chosen by Linda Jean Strand to express the colours of sunrises and sunsets. Well done, Helena!
