Hunterwasser - Colourplay

I found this artist to be extremely inspirational to the point that this piece practically made itself. I loved working with the solid colours to see how they played off one another. Fused and machine quilted with smoked nylon thread.

I drew my inspiration from this piece in particular:

    Reminds me a bit of Kaffe Fassets circles where he places several colours one on top of the other and this is of course is exactly what Hundertwasser did . Your choice of colour combinations are remarkable , making the piece wonderfully co-ordinated and a pleasure to behold.

    Each circle is different and totally draws me into each center! The variety of color and shape gives each circle it's own "personality". Have you thought about making a large quilt like this and submitting it for a Modern Quilting competition? You should!
