HUNDERTWASSER POSTPONED

I am afraid that Iwill not be able to start, let alone finish my Hundertwasser piece for the end of the month. Unfortunately I have had an accident: I fell in the street in Paris and have broken my shoulder. I will be in a sling for a minimum of 6 weeks (I see the orthopaedic surgeon next week and will know more then). The good news is that I can't do any housework and the big pile of books and magazines can at last be read!

  1. Ouch! Hope it isn't too painful. Enjoy the books, and don't try to recover too fast.

  8. Jinnie,

I am so sorry. What a horrid thing to happen. I feel your pain. The important thing is to get better - don't try too hard too soon - let nature takes its time. Now sit back, enjoy those books and stay in touch. H xx

  9. I am so sorry to hear this news, Jinnie. Please keep us updated as to your progress. Nothing is worse than to be sidelined with an injury.

  10. Five weeks after my accident and I still have my sling. However, I saw the orthopaedic surgeon last week and my shoulder is healing well. I have started physio (very gentle for the moment!) and maybe next week I will be able to throw away the sling. I am not sure when I am going to be able to start sewing, but will just have to wait and see. I have really enjoyed seeing all your interpretations of Hundertwasser and I am looking forward to be able to draw out a few ideas for mine, instead of just having to look at them in my head!
