The group blog of five quiltmakers and textile artists scattered around the world in 3 countries and across twocontinents.
Our aim is to create a small quilt every three months.
The theme is chosen by the members in turn.
Our website is: www.12bythedozen.weebly.com
Three shells were chosen for this piece, drawn and colour added with intense pencils. The edges of the shells were covered with a small satin stitch and the background was free motion stitched.
Love the way you have used three different shell shapes and the way in which you used Inktense pencils to highlight the colours. As always your applique and free motion stitching is beautifully executed. Well done.
