Water, water everywhere
At first I pulled out lots of blue fabrics, but in the end I decided to experiment with some of the paint covered cotton wet wipes that I use to clean up when I'm printing. I have some lovely coloured ones. Their edges curl when drying, which made me think that they would work for waves. I added a little bit of white paint to the curled edges to make the waves stand out more.
Jinnie I really think you designed a wonderful piece using the wet wipes in such a clever way. What a great idea using a different medium and creating such a lovely piece of work. Such a good idea using something so different and making it work into the waves. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWell done Jinnie with this clever piece and I agree with all Patricia' comments
ReplyDeleteThe way you have used the different blue fabrics gives such a good effect making the viewer feel that they are on the beach watching the waves break in front of them. You must be pleased with the result. Rosemary
It was inspired to use wet wipes - they work so well. I love the white edge on the waves as it’s just like being on the beach. I think it’s incredible.
