The group blog of four quiltmakers and textile artists scattered around the world in 4 countries and across three continents.
Our aim is to create a small quilt every three months.
The theme is chosen by the members in turn.
Our website is: www.12bythedozen.weebly.com
I also thought of a sea for our water theme, and without water there would be no fish. I then got the idea of creating a bit of whimsy and having a bit of fun by creating the piece that I eventually only finished a day or so ago, so here she is.
What a wonderful fish swimming up to the surface of the water.. The light to dark blue in the background is very cleverly done and enables the multicoloured fish to stand out beautifully. Rosemary
Your fish looks as though he's dressed up to the nines and ready for a special event. You must have had fun making him. I agree withRosemary about the graded background.

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely and I agree with the others about the way the colour changes from light to dark. It’s very clever.
