Our textile art group here in Pretoria, of which I am a member, were very fortunate to have been able to exhibit our work at the Pretoria Art Museum.  There are twelve of us in the group spearheaded by Ina Meyer, who drove the whole exhibition, so all congratulations go to her.  This exhibition consists solely of our recent work and once hung it looks really good.

We have had very favourable reviews in two of our local newspapers and in one National newspaper.  I am putting up a picture of the section of the museum we are exhibiting in, with all our work, just before the opening, and it runs until the 15th May 2016.

  1. How exciting, Patricia! Congratulations! Love to see fibre recognized in mainstream art venues.

  2. Great news Patricia. Could you show us some more photos of the exhibition?

  3. Patricia, this is a wonderful opportunity. Serious congrats. I hope that the exhibition draws lots of the public into to see your work. Looks like there is a wide variety of work that will surely provide something to interest everyone.
    Thanks for the photos.

    All the best, Hilary
