The group blog of four quiltmakers and textile artists scattered around the world in 4 countries and across three continents.
Our aim is to create a small quilt every three months.
The theme is chosen by the members in turn.
Our website is: www.12bythedozen.weebly.com
Determined to crack my colour as a theme barrier (I don't think I'll get away with another self portrait!) I turned to my PC. How about this for a breakdown of Linda's wonderful photo:
Fantastic! What a wonderful tool. Thanks for this Linda. Love the names for the colours (and then they ran out...) I'm not sure I have anything like these lilacs (Portage) in my stash but I have a tiny seed of an idea germinating in my head.
Love the "breakdown" of color...much like the colored dots on the selvages of cotton fabric. I think I will need to carry this color code with me whilst I shop to find this intriguing color challenge.
Fascinating, Linda. Still don't have anything remotely like this in my stash!
