The group blog of four quiltmakers and textile artists scattered around the world in 4 countries and across three continents.
Our aim is to create a small quilt every three months.
The theme is chosen by the members in turn.
Our website is: www.12bythedozen.weebly.com
And congratulations to Helena for her work being selected as the advertisement for the Lakeshore Artist's Association. This is an old and venerable art group and she is their first (and only) textile artist.
ACK! Thanks Dianne, but I was not chosen as the poster artist. I created that poster myself using the template that the Lakeshore Artists provided, to send to my electronic mailing list. It does look perfect with the template however. I am very proud to be a member of LAA and glad that I was able to publicize the upcoming show when I was asked to talk about my art last week on a Montreal radio show.
It is still so good to hear that you girls and your art are being taken seriously over there. Congrats on being accepted, Helena. Hope the show is a success.
