It seems that I'm going to struggle with the colour challenges - I may
have to think of a different approach, but in the end I enjoyed this
one! OK, so the joke was in the title and in my mind and isn't that funny but it made me smile.
My technique was a bit 'off' I suspect I went through the layers the wrong way - I certainly found myself trying to get my hands and scissors into some awkward places to finish the piece.
Made me smile too ..... very clever. I felt like that at one stage and definitely the colour theme is a bigger challenge for me.
ReplyDeleteHa, ha. And anyone who knows Linda B will instantly recognise her silhouette. Love the green 'aura', Linda. Hilary
ReplyDeleteI'm still smiling! Like the way you've got the feeling of movement in your silhouette with the minimum of detail. I agree with Hilary about the 'aura'.
ReplyDeleteThis piece is fun and made me smile too - and I love the different greens which vibrate throught the piece.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of The Scream by Edvard Munch. Such angst!
ReplyDeleteOh Linda, this is good! Contemplating your green issues would make great advertisement. Run with it!
ReplyDeleteI don't even know you Linda, and I can recognize you in this piece. Love the title and a great interpretation of our green theme.
ReplyDeleteNow that's scary Helena!
DeleteSmiling too!
ReplyDeleteCute. the red and black line spark it up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative form!! The echoing of the green with just a touch of red makes really is effective! I was thinking halos (instead of aura), Linda, but I'm sure you weren't in that state of mind when you were working through your "green" issues! :-) Made me chuckle!!
