Ta-da

Spring has sprung, Fresh is done!!
You can probably hear the frenzy in all that.  And Wednesday I'm on a studio tour being run by our guild.  I don't think it's been so spic and span since the last one!

  1. That makes four of us on the studio tour: Dianne, Pam, Helena and me.

Wednesday morning is when the tour bus of 35 Friends of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts shows up at my place. I have hung 35 of my framed pieces all over the house, complete with price tags. Two friends are going to be here to help, and I plan to do some simple demos with 12 guests at a time up in the studio.

I am planning to be completely exhausted by the time any of the BQG people show up. Maybe I'll just open a bottle of wine....

    Bonne chance à toutes!

  3. I'm going to have 12 at a time up in the studio. I have about twenty simple posters up on my design wall, titled with the name of a technique and with a sample of the technique pinned to it. Couching, sunprints, flour paste resist, etc.

I will have materials laid out for people to try image transfer with TAP and Citrasolv, and to make a simple bit of Angelina for cutting out an appliqué, but I really don't know if I will have time for much of that. Better to over-plan a little, I think. I want them to be clamouring to come back next year, that's the thing.

Maybe I will post some photos after the event.

  4. Yes, please post pictures...that would be very nice. I have Citrasolv but haven't played with it yet. Also, have always wanted to see TAP demonstrated...perhaps I'll drop by...HA! But makes me think...are you coming to Houston this year for IQF? Perhaps we should have a "play day" for those of us who will be in Houston.
