More Klee links

I just found a wonderful video on Klee's painting Ad Parnassum.  Well worth listening to understand how he achieved his 'pointillist' type paintings and for the possible inspirations behind the painting:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-FEpKh3-PI

BTW did we decide which format we were using - portrait or landscape or either?

  1. Oh duh! I don't know why but I had S3 size in my head. There can't be a choice of format with a 16" square!!!!

  2. Fascinating video, Hilary. The under layer of squares and rectangles is something I've seen in many of Klee's paintings, but the addition of lines and tiny, toned dabs brings energy and interest to the piece.
